Handles for the Cassiopeia

I have made a lot (and I mean a LOT) of different handles through out time.
The once I like the best and are using today is made of two pieces of 33 cm. long and 12 mm. thick aluminum tubes. The tubes should be bend 12 cm. from the top in an angle of approximately 30 degrees. Then drill holes for the lines in both the top and the bottom. Finish the handle by wrapping some thin bicycle grip tape around the tube, mostly because you do not want to get "aluminum fingers". I have tried a lot of different kinds of material such as thick foam to make the handle nice and need to hold upon, but I have experienced that I get the best "feeling" with the kite if I stick with the thin bicycle grip.

Line length:
I have myself 4 sets of lines in following length: 7, 10, 12.5 and 25 meters.
I use the 7 and 10 meters lines for tricks, such as pulling all the lines to catch the kite and the through it in to the air again - this looks very fancy.

Use the 25 meters lines primary for creating figures in the air with the kite. The short lines are to short since you need a bigger flying area to make the figures. I will not suggest lines longer then 25 meters.
